Zaheer Khan flattened the host Bangladesh with his seven wickets in the 2nd innings as Bangladesh were bowled out for 312 in the second innings. With a negligible target of 2 runs, India won the match with ten wickets in hand.
Earlier today Bangladesh looked compact with Ashraful batting sensibly but Zaheer Khan's incredible bowling spell lead to a dramatic decline of Bangladeshi batting line up. He took 10 wickets in total in this match with 7 wickets for 87 runs in the second innings.With this win India clinch the series 2-0 and will take on South Africa in a much awaited test series when the two top teams will battle on for the unofficially titled World Championship of Cricket Test series.
