Ind Vs Aus Live
CB Series 2012 begun for Australia with good wins over India and Sri Lanka. It seemed that they would be dominating the tri series till we reach the finals. But things changed drastically. India registered a win over Sri Lanka and Australia and also tied a match with Sri Lanka. Thus the pictured changed completely and now when we are half way down the CB Series with all the teams have played 4 matches each; its India who tops the points table with 10 points, followed by Australia and then Sri Lanka.
Australia suffered a heavy loss against Sri Lanka in their last match and also conceded a bonus point to them. Thus the tri series has reached an interesting stage where all the three teams are narrowed down only by few points. It is now too hard to predict which two of them would make it to the finals.
Australia still misses the services of captain Michael Clarke. David Warner and Ricky Ponting are completely out of form. Too much is expected from David Hussey in the middle order and Australian fielding has not been upto the mark.
On the other hand India has showcased exceptional fielding and good bowling in the last few overs. Amongst the batsmen still there are worries regarding Kohli, Sehwag, Tendulkar and Raina. They haven't yet struck good form in this CB series. Dhoni and Gambhir have been the match winners for India in the last two matches. Whenever they play together for a win, they remind all of us of the world cup final win against Srilanka.
We may see some changes in the bowling department of India. Umesh Yadav may make way for Zaheer Khan and Irfan Pathan could be replaced by Praveen Kumar. Gabba has been one of the favourite venues for India in recent past as they have won good number of matches here. Pitdh here would produce good runs but would also help the quickies.
