CSK's win against KTK today can take them at the apex and hence a seat in play offs. KTK's win today (and a big win today) can keep their faint hopes alive of making it into the next round. Similar is the case of KXIP. They defeated RCB yesterday comprehensively keeping their hopes alive. But both KTK and KXIP are depending on things like the other teams should lose their remaining matches (especially KKR).
If we look at the overall scenario, still RCB, CSK, MI and KKR look favourites to make it into the next stage. But as we all know the uncertainty of this game, we can even see a striving team like KTK or KXIP toppling one of four in points tally to reach play offs.
