Rajasthan vs Kolkata - Pune vs Punjab Live Streaming
Last night IPL displayed couple of very interesting matches which comprised of wins for Royal Challengers over Daredevils and Chennai beating Deccan Chargers. We saw some innovative shots from AB de Villiers who took Royal Challengers home - the shots he feels he acquired from his tennis skills! On the other hand Ravindra Jadeja proved his worth by clinching good number of wickets and scoring a 40 plus score along with Bravo who lofted few full tosses into the stands. CSK finally opened its winning account and we also saw Muralitharan still hungry for wickets as he was unplayable against Daredevils.
Today IPL serves couple of good matches which would be as follows:-
Match 1 - Rajasthan Royals Vs Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders can be christened as the most glamorous team in IPL thanks to the owner Shahrukh Khan. His presence pulls crowd to he stadium. KKR got a bad start to this year's IPL when they were defeated by Sehwag's underdogs at the Eden Gardens. So KKR would be itching to beat Rajasthan Royals who already have a win under their belt.
Last year when these two teams played each other twice, both the matches went to Kolkata and they were pretty comfortable wins. But this time things have changed for Rajasthan Royals. Team is now led by Rahul Dravid who seems to have a new zest in him after he called curtains to his international cricketing career. He looks more focused as if he is on a mission to clinch this IPL. He doesn't have too many star cricketers in his team but someone like Rahane can be a match winner again for him. Bowlers like Trivedi, Tait and Botha always come in handy in T20 format. Presence of T20 specialists like Owais Shah, Chandimal, Watson, Hogg and Hodge certainly makes the team look stronger but availability of these players has always been a concern keeping in mind their international cricket commitments towards their national teams.
Kolkata Knight Riders may pitch in Sunil Narine who is in a lot of buzz nowadays. He probably didn't play in the first match due to the rain interruption which could have compelled skipper Gambhir to change his plans. M de Lange is quick but he proved to be a run leaker in the last match. All he needs to do his control his line and length because T20 batsmen tend to make a good use of pace with innovative strokes. Gambhir would always feel comfortable by having the likes of Kallis, McCullum, Iqbal Abdulla, Brett Lee and E Morgan in the team.
Match 2 - Pune Warriors Vs Kings Eleven Punjab
Here comes another match for the Prince of Bengal Sourav Ganguly. He may not look in the best of his form and rusty for T20 cricket. But he certainly pulls eye balls with his aggressive captaincy on the field. He has a huge international experience of captaining team India and hence he has a mastermind which he applies to T20 as well. His team pulled a good win over Mumbai Indians inspite of scoring just 120 odd runs in the first innings.
This is the first time Pune Warriors will be playing in Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune. They would love to enjoy the home support and conditions. Robin Uthappa needs to click and participate in more partnerships to build up a good score. Dinda looks impressive and just needs to be more focused with his bowling. Murali Karthik uses all his county experience into this year's IPL and deceives batsmen with his flight and turners.
Adam Gilchrist is also an aggressive and calculative skipper just like Ganguly. So this would be a good contest. A good quick knock is awaited from Gilchrist and Valthathy. A strong opening stand from these two can lay a good foundation to Kings Eleven Punjab's innings. Even a good knock is awaited from Abhishek Nayar.
Other players worth watch in Punjab's eleven would be the batting star Shaun Marsh who has seen a lot of success in his IPL career. David Hussey's experience will come into play whereas Praveen Kumar who has been a bit silent nowadays can be into his good form again with couple of economical wickets.
Sunday turns out to be a phenomenal fun day with these two nail biting fixtures of IPL 2012.
